Mountain biking

Take on the challenge of Singapore's natural terrain with your mountain bike.

Enjoy an adrenaline rush as you take your bike for a workout on singletracks, climbs, descents, and terrain, set among greenery.

Follow these dos and don'ts for an enjoyable experience for everyone:

  • Plan ahead
    • Research the trails and plan your route before you begin.
    • Ride only in good weather as wet and muddy trails are more prone to damage.
  • Wear proper gear
    • Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear when riding.
    • Bring a first-aid kit and your mobile phone so that you can remain contactable. Avoid riding on the trails alone.
  • Be considerate
    • Be attentive to the safety of yourself and others on the trails. Be a good trail neighbour and minimise noise to fully enjoy the trail.
    • Give way to bikers riding uphill and alert bikers before overtaking. Make each pass a safe and friendly one.
  • Ride on designated trails
    • Stay on the trails. You risk trampling plants and animals when you ride off the trail.
    • Do not modify or create new trails.
  • Respect wildlife
    • Respect wildlife and keep a safe distance if you encounter them. Native animals can get startled by an unannounced approach.
  • Leave no trace
    • Do not litter in the nature reserve. Clear your litter to make the trail a better place for other bikers and our biodiversity.
