About Gardeners' Day Out

Immerse yourself in a world of plants, gardening accessories, and nature-inspired lifestyle products at Gardeners’ Day Out (GDO), held every third Saturday of the month, from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm at HortPark.

With over 60 booths offering an amazing selection of plants, gardening accessories and nature-inspired lifestyle products at our upcoming Gardeners' Day Out, there's something for everyone. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded gardening enthusiasts, discover new gardening trends, and indulge in some retail therapy. Gardening Talks 

Pepper Paradise

Explore the art of pepper cultivation with Isaiah Peter, an avid grower and founder of Pepper Patch SG. Participants will get to learn about germination techniques, watering routines, fertilising schedule and pest management of mild, hot and super-hot peppers like the Carolina Reaper and the Ghost pepper. Each participant will receive a pepper seedling.

Workshops

Threaded Tranquility: Kokedama Workshop 

Craft your own unique Kokedama masterpiece and take home a stunning botanical creation, along with essential knowledge, skills, and care tips tailored for all gardeners, ensuring the successful growth and maintenance of your Kokedama.


This workshop will be held in HortPark, Fruit room from 1.00 to 2.30 pm. Fees apply and is payable to the trainer. Read more about the Kokedama workshop and sign up now!

DIY Botanical Paintbrush

Applying for a booth for a 3-month block: $60 for hobbyists; $90 for commercial parties

Apply for a MarketPlace booth

Sign up for a booth at the MarketPlace to sell your plants, gardening or nature-related items and lifestyle products at upcoming GDO events!

Ballot applications are open at the start of March, June, September and December for 1 week. Slots for the GDOs planned in the next 3 months will be released during each application window.

The online application form will only be available during the dates when applications are open, as listed in the following table:

Note:

  • Applications are not on a first-come, first-served basis. Booths are allocated via a computerised balloting process.
  • Relevant fees apply for a booth application.
  • If you have been allocated a booth, you will receive a confirmation email 14 working days after applications have closed.
  • Successful applicants will be given a booth space for the 3-month period stated. There will be no refunds for the cancellation of confirmed booths.
