Kranji Marshes, together with Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, provides an important habitat for the conservation of birds, especially marsh birds.

It is home to more than 170 species of birds. Use this bird checklist (PDF, 69.77KB) to keep track of the species you have spotted.

Try these routes, depending on when you visit:

If you are visiting...	You can...
During raptor migratory season from November to March	Climb up to the top of Raptor Tower to view the Black Baza, Japanese Sparrowhawk and other migratory species.
Throughout the year	Walk along Neo Tiew Woods. Raise your gaze and look into the tall trees to catch a glimpse of a Changeable Hawk Eagle or White-bellied Sea Eagle perching in the canopy. Visit one of the bird hides at the Marsh Station for a chance to observe shy marsh birds such as the Common Moorhen and the White-breasted Waterhen.
