What to see

Special features

Mangroves

Visit the restored mangroves at the western edge of the park, which are home to more than 1,000 species of saplings.

Viewing tower

This lookout point offers stunning views of the entire park. It features a cascading grain garden landscaped with rocks and boulders, plants and more.

Pavilions

Found around the pond, these Chinese-style pavilions are the perfect place to rest as you enjoy the sight of the tranquil waters.

Plant and animals

Malayan Water Monitor

One of the largest lizard species in the world, it can grow up to 3m long. Look out for it near or swimming in the water.

Birds

Look out for birds such as the Collared Kingfisher or the Olive-backed Sunbird (which has a bright yellow underbelly).

Flowers

Wander around the butterfly-shaped play area to find the Common Asystasia and Common Lantana, both of which are hosts to beautiful butterfly species.

Butterflies

With an array of flowers, the park is home to butterflies such as the Blue Pansy, Common Palmfly and Common Grass Yellow.

Native trees

See if you can spot native trees such as the Yellow Cow Wood, Common Sterculia and Cleistanthus malaccensis.

Mangrove plants

Visit the mangrove area for over 1,000 species of plants, such as Api Api, White Teruntum and even the critically endangered Berembang.
