From Springleaf MRT station, walk 550m against the traffic along Upper Thomson Road pass the Shell petrol station.

Carpark: 21 car lots, 4 motorcycle lots, 2 heavy vehicle/coach lots and 1 lot for handicapped visitors.

Parking fees apply to all parking lots.

  • Do apply for a permit at least 1 month in advance if you are organising group activities involving more than 30 persons.
  • Do apply for a permit at least 2 weeks in advance for commercial filming and photography, subject to NParks' approval.
  • Do stay on designated trails to avoid stepping on endangered plants.
  • Do not fish in the nature park.
  • During and immediately after bad weather, do seek cover at the nearest shelter available and avoid entering forested areas.

What to see

Plant and animals


The park is home to more than 80 species of resident and migratory birds such as the White-throated Kingfisher, Blue-tailed Bee-eater and Long-tailed Parakeet


As the nearby villages and plantations were left to rest, many of the trees such as the Chinese Banyan and Kelumpang were able to grow unrestricted.

Head up the bird watching platform and try to spot birds over the waterway.
