Sun Plaza Park

From an aerial view, all the paths in the park converge to form the shape of a sun in the centre of the park.

Known as Singapore’s "cherry blossom" tree for its floppy trumpet-shaped pink or white flowers, this tree often leaves a carpet of petals on the ground.

Look out for its young purplish leaves that mature to green. It usually flowers after pronounced dry weather, and produces large, purplish, flattened pods.
