• Aquatic plants: Plants such as Red Thalia, Bulrush and Swamp Cabbage are grown along the waterway to remove pollutants from the soil, water and air.
• Birds: The vegetation along the waterway makes it an ideal habitat for birds. Watch out for species such as the Black-naped Oriole, Yellow-vented Bubul and Long-tailed Parakeet.
• Old Punggol Road Bus Stop: This vintage bus stop shelter was preserved as a fond reminder of the past.
