About the nature trail

Unwind by taking an easy nature walk along the quiet and serene trails that weave through the forests.

Quick facts about the trails

  • Difficulty level: Easy
  • Total distance: 3km
  • Estimated walking time: 1.5 to 2 hours

There are 3 trails that can be explored separately:

  • Diversity Trail
  • Marsh Trail
  • Forest Trail

Diversity Trail

  • Distance: 1.2km

This easy walk lets you enjoy views of the freshwater pond and different plants and animals in and around it.

Highlights include:

  • A soft footpath carpeted with Manila Grass leading to the pond's viewing platform.
  • Dragonflies, including the Common Parasol and the Blue Dasher.
  • Snags are standing dead trees that are situated away from footpaths and not removed from their natural environment. They serve as important nesting and feeding sites for birds.

Marsh Trail

  • Distance: 0.8km

This is the shortest trail in the park, which offers views of broad, shallow canals (called vegetated swales). These natural drains help to channel excess surface runoff away from the ground and are dry during the dry season.

Highlights include Spider Lily and Mangrove Fern which have been planted to reduce soil erosion.

Forest Trail

  • Distance: 1km

This walk brings you through the shady trees to enjoy the calm and cool.

Highlights include butterflies such as the Blue Pansy and Common Grass Yellow.

Note

Follow the park dos and don'ts for an enjoyable experience for everyone.
