The Eco-Link@BKE is an ecological bridge sitting over the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE). It lets animals cross safely between the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Central Catchment Nature Reserve, allowing wildlife to expand their habitat and genetic pool and increase their survival chances. The 2 nature reserves used to be connected before the BKE was built in 1986.
Some of the animals which have been seen using the bridge include the Common Palm Civet, Blue-eared Kingfisher, Lesser Mousedeer, pangolins and macaques.
Note
The Eco-Link@BKE is not open to members of the public. As the bridge is an ecologically sensitive area, its access is strictly supervised and only for research purposes.
