There is a variety of group workshops catered for adults and children that you can choose from in HortPark.

Learn plant-styling and plant-care tips in this workshop to turn your home into a dreamy, leafy oasis.

Each participant will bring home a shade-loving plant with a decorative pot. The session will end with a guided tour of the park for more refreshing gardening ideas.

Learn how to grow microgreens, or young plants that are harvested and eaten before they fully mature.

Embark on your edible gardening endeavour with us and bring home your own set of microgreens. This workshop ends with a refreshing tour of the Valley of Edibles as we introduce the common edibles found there.

An interactive pressed-flower workshop where you can learn the techniques of pressing botanical materials such as flowers and leaves.

You will also learn how to create various craftwork using pressed flowers and leaves. Each participant will bring home their wooden flower press and their masterpiece.

Embark on a nature exploration journey at the Pitter Patter Potter Garden, a "Classroom in a Garden" specially designed to complement schools’ curricula.

In this workshop, children will develop a sense of wonder and respect for nature while deepening their knowledge about plants.

Request teacher's package

Schools that are unable to join the workshops or wish to teach about plants and garden life during classroom lessons may request a Pitter Patter Potter teacher's package.

The package includes:

  • A virtual tour video of the Pitter Patter Potter Garden.
  • A deck of learning slides.
    • Topics include plant forms, plant colours, garden animals, caring for nature, fruits and seed variety (for the basic workshop) and seed dispersal (for the advanced workshop).

If you are a teacher, you may send an email or call 6471 5601 to request a teacher's package. You will have to provide the name of the school you are from and the level your students are in.
